Visit by Prof. Dr. Huỳnh Thành Đạt, Minister of Science, Vietnam
On June 26th, 2024, the Vietnamese Minister for Science and Technology, H.E. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat, visited CSMB and the Science park Adlershof during his trip to Germany. Our Deputy Director, Prof. Emil-List-Kratochvil, welcomed the high-ranking delegation from Vietnam in the research building. In the foyer, discussions with the minister, who holds a Ph.D. in physics, centered on current developments in materials science. The visit included a tour of our modern joint laboratory, where research on hybrid devices is conducted.
Minister Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Dat was accompanied by representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, academia, administration, and the press.
In recent decades, scientific and technological cooperation between Vietnam and Germany has grown steadily, contributing to both countries’ commitments to climate change mitigation and the UN’s sustainable development goals.
