Interview with Dr. Nakib Protik on DRAGONICS
Berlin, July 1st, 2024
From International Scholar to Emmy Noether Group Leader
After holding positions at prestigious institutions around the world, including Harvard University and the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Dr. Nakib Protik arrived at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2022. Funded by an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, he worked under the supervision of Prof. Claudia Draxl, a member of the CSMB.
Now, Dr. Protik has taken a significant step forward by establishing his own Emmy Noether Group within our research building. His current research focuses on a new field called DRAGONCIS where he explores how to enhance material transport properties by exploiting the electron-phonon drag effect.
In this video, Dr. Protik provides an overview of his research journey and shares insights into achieving a healthy work-life balance.
Congratulations on this accomplishment, Dr. Protik! Thank you for your patience and dedication.
