Beves, Ray DiNardi, Samina Rasheed, Simona Capomolla\nUNSW Sydney, Australia // Email: j.beves@unsw.edu.au ( mailto:j.beves@unsw.edu.au )\nAbstract:\nOur research group has been developing molecular photoswitches for controlling self-assembly processes, including for control of anion binding,1 hydrogels,2 DNA assemblies3 and metal-template structures.4 Most recently we have been preparing visible light switchable molecular cages,5 and our latest results of switchable catalysis within molecular cages will be discussed.\nSelf-assembled heteroleptic cages that respond to visible light to catalyse non-photo reactions.\nReferences\n[1] T. From 2009-2012 he was a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Edinburgh (UK) under the supervision of Prof David A. Leigh FRS. From March 2012 – February 2013 he was Research A/Prof at Nanjing University (China). In March 2013 he commenced his position at UNSW, and in June 2017 was awarded an ARC Future Fellowship (2017-2021) and in 2020 promoted to Associate Professor.\nDiscover more on his webpage!
